Cheryl has managed to include a lot of information and ways to move your life forward with out it being too overwhelming. In a time where there are numerous self help/personal development books available and especially when you are starting out looking for a book that is going to set you on that path, Just Give Your Head a Shake is a perfect place to start. It is easy to follow, gives you straightforward exercises, and each chapter covers areas of your life that with some simple steps, can create enormous change in your life. Cheryl personalizes the book with her own experiences, and each technique she gives to you, she has personally used and found effective in her own life or with her own counseling clients.
